Busy weeks are for links...
...and I have two.

Link, the first!

If you'd like a few more details on how I found representation, fellow Greenhouser Ruth L. Steven is running a "How I Got My Agent" series on her blog. My story went up last week. You can find it here.

Link, the second!

Lori M. Lee is having a blogaversary contest. It's major. There are tons upon tons of prizes and I've contributed a crit. Go here for details.

I promise a post of more substance in the future. Just as soon as I recover from revision brain and paint my nails again.

Happy Mardi Gras!

I read that article about how you got your agent earlier in the week when you posted it on twitter. It was rather refreshing honestly to know that you were able to say your first book wasn't ready and move on to the next one. I feel the way about my first book too, but was way too stubborn for too long to accept it. Thank God that's not still the case.

What color will your nails be... you know, now that you're no longer ignoring them? ;)

I'm glad it was helpful to know. I think it's rarely an easy choice to put a novel aside, but I think it's might frequently be the good choice.

I STILL haven't painted!!!

Thanks! Even months after the fact, it feels great. :)
